International symposium on forest areas in Adagir, Marocco
Forest is a critical important element of Wilderness in many countries. This is even more true in Mediterranean region where forest suffered very much in the past centuries due to humans activities. Therefore we very much support activities with focus on forest ecosystems in this region.

We are delighted to share with you the first announcement and call for submissions for the International Symposium on forest areas and peri-urban forests “dynamics and challenges” will be held in Agadir, Morocco between 3-5th November, 2016.
Ibn Zuhr University, Agadir-Morocco, will be host for this event and supporting as partners from different countries and institution such as Kastamonu University, Turkey, S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University, Kazakhstan, SYLVA-MONDE, ENFI, ICFFI, Association Marocaine Des Sciences Regionales etc.
The symposium will provide to us a unique opportunity to bring together researchers from all over the world to share their knowledge and experiences in below sub-topics:
- Knowledge forest and urban forest: high tech tools (remote sensing, GIS, etc.), biogeography, ecology, forestry, resource inventory, furnishings etc.
- Importance of forest and peri-forest for the development of society
- Inventory of forest and peri-forest
- Which sustainable development for EFPF (what implications the EFPF in development: approaches, measures etc.)
