Sometimes to meet great artists, entered into the wilderness idea, you don´t even have to leave your home town. You just need to get out of your usual day-to-day surrounding and open your mind.

In such a way today I visited a workshop-gallery “Natura interior” in the center of Uzhhorod, run by delightful couple of sculptures: Andriy and Olesya Voznitski. In this renovated workshop you can find a lot of different art-works made from different natural materials: ceramic, metal, wood, bronze etc.,  get knowledge how to manufacture them and take part in the pleasant conservation.

Insect collection – Natura ceramica

The collection of slipware and metal-stained glass insects, deserves special attention. According to Andriy, nature and insects always attracted and inspired him, he deepened his knowledge about these creations of nature and in cooperation with his wife created a wonderful collection, which can not only sculpt an interior, but also be a very good educational instrument.

Eco-art-education

Olesya already gave number of masterclasses to youth on ceramic, which were very popular and fascinating for both: master and students. And we discussed further conduction of joint eco-art-educational activities as well as experience exchange with Annogallery, our “Areas of Inspiration” project partners from Slovakia.

Wild Art Expedition

Andriy and Olesya admire travelling and getting inspiration from different natural areas. For example, one of Andriy´s works is called “Union with nature”. I have introduced to them Wild Art Expedition, an idea of European Wilderness Society, and artists expressed a great interest to take part in it.

If you are in Uzhhorod, you need to visit the workshop-gallery “Natura interior”, to get a feeling of contemporary Ukrainian nature art and meet talented wilderness supporters!
