Seminar on forest pedagogics

At the beginning of February the European Wilderness Society participated in a 2-day seminar-training on forest pedagogics, organised by our friendly NGO FORZA in Ukraine. This was a good opportunity to exchange practical experience in nature education, work with different age groups, applying different modern tools, and to meet local environmental creative educators, who expressed a need of more activities. Another request was expressed on the necessity of high quality educational publications, including bilingual (e.g. English and Ukrainian) and interactive facilities. Forest pedagogics is linked to Wilderness education and its further introduction in Ukraine, as well as in other European countries, is of demand.
