WILD 11 Register Now

Since 1977, the Wild Foundation has been organizing a World Wilderness Congress for the purpose of providing a public forum to discuss and plan the preservation of nature and healthy human relationships with it. This coming year marks the Foundation’s 11th Congress. With likely over 1 500 delegates representing dozens of nations, the 2020 Congress, or WILD11, will meet to discuss and shape the future of Wilderness conservation at both the global and regional levels.

Where

Building off the tremendous success of WILD10, the 2020 Congress will be held in Jaipur, India. The event will take place at the Birla Convention Centre from the 19th to the 26th of March. Jaipur, the “Pink City,” capital of Rajasthan and a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a breathtaking place to experience a harmony of vibrant cultural and natural heritage.

What

Panels, presentations, tours, round-table discussions, special sessions, field trips, and an inspirational symposium titled “Science & Stewardship to Protect & Sustain Wilderness” are just some of the planned events. WILD11 also offers exceptional opportunities for youth and early-career conservationists. This includes volunteering opportunities and a pre-Congress workshop. Additionally, WILD11 offers mentorship opportunities, for youth, as well as the chance to join a committee and program. Wild11 focuses on realizing the potential of the world’s young environmentalists.
