Biosphere Reserve Lungau: The home of the European Wilderness Society

The European Wilderness Society is based in Tamsweg, the main village of the new UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Lungau. The Austrian Broadcasting service just produced a great nature film about this mountainous region, which has been civilised for more than 5000 years but still boasts some of the best potential Wilderness areas in the European Alps.

This film is free to view until 21 March so watch it now and see what we see every day when we look outside our office windows.
