The layer of snow provides Peter with a good chance to find tracks of wolves in the Calanda territory. He soon found promising tracks, that lead to an remarkable discovery further uphill.
The problem with tracking is, especially in early winter, the wolves could be anywhere in their 250 or so square kilometres territory.
