In early June, livestock animals return to the summer pastures in the Calanda region. Peter documents the demanding effort of shepherdess Astrid, who guides over 400 sheep up to the Ramuz alm. The alp lies directly within the wolf pack territory, but Astrid has great help to protect the sheep. Read more about Astrid’s work here.
