Though not professionally bound to the fields of natural sciences or conservation I’ve always been a wilderness enthusiast and a wild animal. Outside I feel more at home than being locked inside, so I try to explore the world as much as possible.
As a linguist by education and being a representative of one of the Russian minor nationalities (namely Chuvash people) I have also always been interested in cultural diversity and international cooperation. This brought me to the field of international volunteer projects, through participation in which I rediscovered my passion for nature in a more responsible and proactive way.
These words are a declaration of personal responsibility and universal interconnectedness to me. The place I come from originally is important to me, but I believe that the Earth as a whole prevails over all the boundaries. I look forward to discovering more of our one and only planet and hope to contribute to its preservation as a wilderness volunteer and beyond.
