WILDArt 2019 Majella Italy

WILDArt 2019 took place in the Majella Wilderness in Italy and a member of European Wilderness Network Partner. 8 Artists from The United States, Ukraine and Germany spent a week in one of the wildest places in Europe. Guided by the local ranger Nicola Scalzitti and our expert Wilderness Rangers the artists enjoyed a unique experience of viewing nature as nature intended in one of the wildest places in Italy. Joint dinners at the Casa del Lupo, fantastic Italian breakfast with Espresso, long hikes into the Orfento, spending time with local children and their parents, showcasing the works at an exhibition and seeing incredible wildlife inspired the artists to some fantastic works.
