A wild bunch
From the 26th until the 29th of October this year, the annual Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam will take place. Above all, the festival is focusing on a special selection of 40 wildlife films and documentaries. It will take place in the heart of Rotterdam, in the Cinerama movie theater.
The main program of the festival consists of a competition program that is open to professional and non-professional nature filmmakers from the Netherlands and abroad. A selection committee selects the films that will be screened at the festival. As an encouragement for talented filmmakers to enter into the competition, there are awards in various categories. The expert jury will present these awards to the winning filmmakers in a festive manner.
In addition to the competition program, there will be educational activities for children and other activities. The Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam is a initiative from passionate volunteers, and organised by a non-profit foundation.
