Fulufjället Wilderness – New Publication!

Today we are publishing a new and updated Wilderness Brief about Fulufjället Wilderness. This 19 000 ha of platinum quality Wilderness is located in Sweden, in the southern part of the Scandes on the border with Norway.

Fulufjället Wilderness is home to one of the world’s oldest trees, known as ‘Old Tjikko’. This is a 9 560 year old Norwegian spruce, which has reached such a great age by regenerating a new trunk and branches through the roots.
