Title: European bison

Description: Portrait of a wild bull bison (Bison bonaus bonasus) in its natural environment taken in Winter. The encounter with a wild bison in its natural environment of the Bialowieza forest/Poland. European bisons or 'wisents' are the largest land mammals of our continent and were nearly extinct at the beginning of last century. Spending a couple of hours with wild old bulls in the heart of the Bialowieza primeval forest had something really special and magic. I wanted to show the vision we might have of a bison in the Bialowieza forest, one of the last place on earth when we can meet wild and free bions who nearly extinct and were introduced recently. Picture taken on tripod with mirror-locked and ML-3 remote control.
