Youth Green Conference 2025 is coming!
We’re excited to announce the official start of preparations for the Youth Green Conference 2025, made possible by funding from ERASMUS+. We will be calling on young environmental enthusiasts from all corners of Europe to join us in building a more sustainable future.
With the environmental challenges facing Europe today, urgent action is needed, also from our future generation. The EU Youth Strategy, highlighted by the 6th EU Youth Conference in Vienna, has outlined 11 Youth Goals, with a focus on ‘Sustainable Green Europe’.
Youth Green Conference kick-off meeting
Our journey began with a virtual Kick-off Meeting on April 23, 2024, marking the start of an exciting international gathering. Organized by the European Wilderness Society in partnership with groups from Slovenia, Spain, and Ukraine, the Youth Green Conference aims to be an event that will bring young participants closer to nature and environmental learning experience.
Taking place in Austria’s stunning Biosphere Reserve Lungau, the conference will span five enriching days in Autumn 2025 (exact dates to be announced). Youth participants from Austria, Ukraine, Spain, and Slovenia will gather to explore the wonders of nature and dive into important environmental topics.
Youth Green Conference goals
At the core of the Youth Green Conference is a commitment to education, innovation, and collaboration. Through workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities, participants will deepen their understanding of critical issues like Environment, Climate Change, Rural Life, and Sustainability.
Inspired by the youth green charter, participants will use their creativity to create meaningful media content, such as podcasts, to raise awareness more effectively. Furthermore, the conference will serve as a hub for cultural exchange and language skill development, developing relationships across borders and generations.
