GreenBeltCenter is open!

On Sunday, the official opening of the GreenBeltCenter (GBC) in Windhaag close to the former Czech border was celebrated.

The GBC offers several exhibits on three floors including a temporary one on energy, one on the former border and the current 12,500 km long green belt and an exhibit on the history of the region. The GBC exhibit showcases different habitats and its fauna along the former border. A highlight is the herbal apotecary offering several herbal products from the region.

The European Wilderness Society attended to congratulate the organizer of GreenBeltCenter with a symbolic Wolf howl for more Wilderness in Europe.
