Wilderness fascinates 1 million people

Back in 2014 we started with a small website not knowing if any European let alone wilderness advocates from anywhere else in the world would be interested in reading and hearing about Europe´s last Wilderness.

5 years later in our anniversary year we are really stunned how many people are shown interest in Europe’s last Wilderness its Wildlife and our work.

We are really motivated and enthusiastic to continue this path to protect Wilderness and Wildlife and in our outreach efforts. In 2020 we will launch the Vlado Vancura Wilderness Academy offering professional courses and trainings, we will expand the Respect Nature programme to more countries across Europe, we will submit several exciting projects, we will expand the European Wilderness Network and we will intensify our lobbying efforts in close cooperation with other organisation on a European level and we will broaden our collaboration with several wilderness research institutions and universities. We will also continue with WILDArts and host again the European Wilderness Academy Days.
