Coming soon: Wilderness Academy Days 2019
This year, the European Wilderness Academy Days are in the beautiful UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Lungau, Austria, from 27-29 May. This is a three-day conference for protected area managers, scientists, rangers, and everyone enthusiastic about Wilderness.

A Wild Agenda
The three days are packed with Wilderness activities, discussions, and networking. Speakers are coming from across the globe; Georgia, USA, Germany, Italy, Ukraine and more. Alongside presentations, workshops, and keynotes, we also have an excursion into the Biosphere Reserve Lungau to discover potential Wilderness, wild rivers and lakes in the heart of the Alps.
Additionally, we hold a Gala Dinner to celebrate the Year of Wilderness, and there will be a Wilderness Film Festival. This is not an event to be missed! Get your tickets here.
We are looking forward to welcoming all our guests to the heart of the Austrian Alps, and sharing knowledge and experiences about Wilderness. Together we will shape the future of Wilderness in Europe.

Speaker topics include; Wilderness in the US and Europe, forestry, tourism and visitor management, wildlife, outreach and education, climate change, and more… all around the theme of Wilderness.
