National Park Kalkalpen and National Park Hohe Tauern join the European Wilderness Network

The Nationalpark Kalkalpen with 15 600 ha of Wilderness and the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern Salzburg with 9 136 ha of Wilderness have joined today the European Wilderness Network. The European Wilderness Society issued the respective diplomas toady, after carefully reviewing the existing documents. We are glad to see the Wilderness Sytem expand so quickly.
