The Rewilding Voices meeting held in September 2024 in the Netherlands marked a significant milestone in driving this collaborative vision forward.

Rewilding Voices Initiative

Rewilding Voices initiative seeks to create a platform where diverse and often underrepresented communities can share their insights on rewilding and ecological restoration. Over the next three years, Rewilding Voices project managers plan to host approximately 10 discussions, each aimed at enriching the rewilding dialogue. 

These conversations will bring together wildE partners and key stakeholders to examine diverse perspectives and identify opportunities for scaling rewilding efforts. The initiative seeks to foster a deeper understanding of rewilding’s potential across different sectors.

Rewilding: A Multidisciplinary Solution

Representatives from Wild Europe, Fundación Internacional para la Restauración de Ecosistemas (FIRE), Society for Ecological Restoration (SER), European Wilderness Society, Rewilding Europe, and an independent ecologist involved in the creation of Gelderse Poort (Netherland) came together to explore rewilding’s diverse possibilities.
