Opportunity for Wildlife Biologists in USA
The Willamette National Forest in Oregon, USA, has an opportunity for an enthusiastic wildlife biologist to volunteer in the field for 6 months, from 15 March – 15 September 2019. The work will have a strong focus on ornithology and conservation education, and the visiting biologist will also conduct wildlife surveys. In addition, there will be opportunities to learn about and assist with a variety of district wildlife and other projects with the U.S. Forest Service.

Logistics and Requirements
All expenses are covered, including roundtrip airfare from your home country to Oregon, visa-related expenses, accommodation, an allowance to cover food expenses, and emergency medical insurance.
Basic requirements include; good comprehension of English, knowledge and some experience with birds, experience with and a strong interest in conservation education, public speaking, driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors.
