Women 4 Wilderness 2.

Short blog post for International Women’s Day by Sheila Wren

They restore my equilibrium and help me keep things in proportion when everything is crowding in.  They show me how wonderful nature is, but also how fragile.

Most of all they remind me that the universe does not exist just for the benefit of people, and that we need to remember our place in it.

Sheila Wren is a Londonner and the Advocacy Officer at the John Muir Trust, the leading wild land conservation charity in the UK
