Capturing the nature through lens
Today Iryna Shchoka from European Wilderness Society visited photo-art exhibition “Mystery of the Carpathian forest”. The exhibition of contemporary art-works was held in the gallery of the Ancient Castel of Uzhhorod and was supported by the Transcarpathian Department of Ecology.

Insight into the Art of Nature
This day she also visited art-gallery and met one of the co-authors of the exhibition, the Head of Photographic Art Association of Transcarpathia, Mr. Volodymyr Nyorba.
Iryna gained insight into the paintings and photo art works of Transcarpathian artists and introduced to Mr.Nyorba European Wilderness Society´s mission, activities, passion to Wilderness and WildArt, dedication to Ukraine and also International Project “Areas of Inspiration”, its art activities and expected results.
The separate discussion was dedicated to the Wild Art Plein Air, which wan acclaim of artist, and participation of Ukrainian artists in International Art workshops in Viinistu and particularly in International Photo expedition „Genius Loci. Lahemaa“ for professional photographers and artists, which will take place on 14-18 of August this year.
Recently, Mr. Nyorba was lucky to depict Polar light in Norway and we hope very soon with the support of Project “Areas of Inspiration” and its partners will have a chance to capture through lens the nature, people and village life of Lahemaa National Park in Estonia.
