Working under the Corona lockdown

The Austrian government announced over the weekend strict regulations with regards to the Corona pandemic. As this is not unexpected and due to the modern cloud-based infrastructure implemented by the European Wilderness Society many years ago, the strict regulation does not impact our day to day operations. Even though we had to shut down our main office for Therefore, European Wilderness Society has decided to close its main office temporarily and cannot entertain visitors anymore, all our staff in all countries can be reached by email.

Planned travels, activities and projects meetings

Due the travel restriction, the Interreg projects and the BMNT Projects have postponed all travels, activities in the field and project meetings. These meetings will be rescheduled to a later date. The Synevyr River Cleanup projects and the Ukrainian Ranger training will move forward as planned end of May until further notice.

Our weekly newsletter and our regular posting will also continue.

In the meantime, have a look at our new call for partners. We will continue to publish daily updates on Wilderness and Wilderness-related topics, so stay tuned, safe and healthy!
