Kuziy-Trebushany: Exploring new Ukrainian Wilderness

On 28 of September the European Wilderness Society visited another potential Wilderness and conducted a European Wilderness Quality Standard Quick audit of the Kuziy-Trebushany massif of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve, Ukraine.

We are grateful for the support of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve´s management, scientists and rangers, and are happy about the continuation of the  cooperation with the clear stated objective of enlarging the European Wilderness Network. The Uholka-Shyrokyy Luh Wilderness of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve recently was certified as a Platinum member of the European Wilderness Network.
